The Yorba Linda California Temple was announced on 4 April 2021 by Pres. Russell M. Nelson as the 9th temple in the state. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 18 June 2022. An open house and dedication date have not yet been announced. Plans call for a nearly 31, 000 square foot structure.
