Dr. Nishant V. Munugala is a UCI Health hematologist-oncologist with expertise in both benign and malignant blood disorders as well as solid cancers. His clinical interests encompass benign and malignant hematology, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and advancing clinical trials. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed both his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Munugala is dedicated to partnering with patients to navigate challenging diagnoses and is particularly focused on improving cancer treatment outcomes, quality of care and cancer survivorship.
